The fundamentals of trauma healing involve addressing trauma’s physical, emotional, and psychological effects on an individual. The process can include the following steps:

  1. Safety and stabilization: The first step in trauma healing is ensuring the individual feels safe and stable. This may involve addressing any immediate physical needs, as well as providing a safe and supportive environment.
  2. Acknowledging and processing the trauma: This step involves helping the individual to understand and recognize the trauma they have experienced. This can include talking about the event(s) and the associated feelings, supporting the individual process, and making sense of their experiences.
  3. Developing coping strategies: Trauma can make individuals feel helpless and powerless. This step involves teaching individuals how to manage symptoms of trauma, such as anxiety and depression, as well as how to develop healthy coping mechanisms.
  4. Building resilience: Trauma can make individuals feel vulnerable, but resilience can be created. This step involves teaching individuals how to develop healthy relationships, improve self-esteem and self-worth, and build strength for future stressors.
  5. Maintaining progress: Trauma healing is a process that requires time and patience. This step involves helping individuals to maintain progress and continue to work on their healing journey.

Trauma, by definition, is when you feel overwhelmed.

It is important to note that every person’s journey of healing is different so the steps may vary. Also, working with a trained therapist or counsellor specializing in trauma healing is essential.

He is deeply involved in the personal journey of inner healing and transformation through a variety of meditation practices.

He combines his knowledge of science and spirituality to provide a well-rounded vif leadership and self-development. He has taught courses around the world in the Fortune 100 companies, OSHO Communes, and Ashrams. He has spent time in Sufism and Buddhism monasteries and is deeply involved in the inner healing work.
