BLOOD PRESSURE

We can think of the circulatory system as a plumbing system. The heart is like a water pump, and veins and arteries are like pipes. As a result of hypertension, the pump works harder and faster than it should. The pump needs to push harder and faster to move the same volume of liquid through the channels because the pipes are clogged and pinched. Due to the extended pipes covering a larger area, the pump must push further fluid. As this kind of problem grows and becomes more serious in a plumbing system, no signs are visible until it breaks down and the pipe leaks. In the same way, the human body suffers from the same problem. A person with high blood pressure (hypertension) may not feel any symptoms until a doctor’s measurements find that the condition or damage to the circulatory system has already occurred.

Waste accumulates inside blood vessels

Waste accumulates inside blood vessels, sticks to the walls, and reduces the circumference. The bundles of nerves surrounding vessels can also cause them to become constricted and spasm. Stress and anxiety often cause this repetitive, sometimes constant, tightening of the nerves, which alters the flexibility and rigidity of the vessel walls. When a vein or artery is healthy, its elasticity allows it to respond to changes in pressure, such as those that occur naturally during exercise or are stimulated by certain situations or emotions. An artery with fatty deposits and calcifications or chronically constricted by nervous tension will not withstand a pressure increase.

The accumulation of body mass ...

The accumulation of body mass caused by weight gain, fats and cholesterol in our diets, stress reduction, and adequate exercise will help create a system in which the heart is not overworked and clean; supple blood vessels are not overstrained.

Many cases, however, require ...

Many cases, however, require extra help to maintain a healthy blood pressure level-diet, and exercise alone may not be enough. Diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and beta-blockers are commonly prescribed in western medicine to treat hypertension. By suppressing enzymes or hormones that control the functions of the heart, these medicines alter the force of the heart’s heating or prevent blood pressure increases. In addition, by reducing the overall amount of fluid travelling through the vessels, diuretics reduce fluid retention. Despite these pharmacological remedies, there is no evidence that either plaque buildup inside the arteries or nerve constriction around the streets is the cause of the problem. In addition, many medications that are used to treat high blood pressure have unfavourable side effects.

The disease is not important. The “patient” is important, because the patient has created the disease. The cause is in the patient; the disease is only a symptom. You can change the symptom, and another symptom will come up. You can force this disease by drugs, you can stop its expression, but then the disease will assert itself somewhere else and with more danger, more force – with a vengeance. So we will feel the “patient.” As we all aware education and experience equality important. But most important to get in tune with the “patient” and find the cause using both western and eastern medicine. We care and will build a rapport; and create a bridge on your healing journey!

    In conjunction with lifestyle changes

In conjunction with lifestyle changes or as an adjunct to prescription medication, acupuncture and Herbs of Traditional Chinese Medicine can be effective alternative therapies to treat the underlying cause of this condition. Acupuncture stimulates and relaxes the parasympathetic nervous system, which surrounds arteries. Through this process, blood vessels become more flexible, allowing blockages to be cleared. Similarly, acupuncture works on the heart valves to help them contract and relax more effectively with less pressure and effort. Depending on the patient’s condition, treatment may also be customized to relieve stress in the mind and body, improve sleep, and release excess heat.

    In TCM, the whole person

In TCM, the whole person is treated to prevent illness from arising. People should seek regular maintenance treatment to prevent conditions like hypertension from becoming unmanageable. While high blood pressure can be controlled in various ways because it is a possible indicator of more serious heart disease, it should never be ignored.
